The paper considers questions asotiated with automated systems to produce composite parts. Exist-ing used in aerospace production are usually based on lay-up technologies. main objective of the on-going development is find an affordable technology for com-posite parts that can be easily automated. handling dry reinforcing fabrics paper: fabric placed a suitable mold where it impregnated by selected type matrix and consolidated under vacuum bag afterwards. Based experiments using standard gripping systems, was found local damage fibers occurs. For these reasons, new suction-based gripper developed. As suction source industrial cleaner used, whose perfor-mance regulated continuously. Functionality system verified six differ-ent types materials, two different grid at three levels performance. Performed suitability designed solution manipulation without risk their damage.
